Biking/hiking trails
Our bike/offroad trails are famous for their length and diversity and after a day on the trail, our indoor heated pool is the ideal salve for your body. We have more than 60 km of tracks and walks, so we suggest you bring along your mountain bike/and hiking shoes!
The offroad terrain is varied with rocky uphill and downhill sections, tight and twisting single-track areas, and wide-open straights, capable of challenging the fitness and skills of any participant. And as a bonus, you get to enjoy the superb scenery while you’re cruising along.
Fishing
For the serious and social angler, we offer 25 km of prime river frontage, together with several dams. The river and dams contain multiple species such as bass, carp, barbel and large mouth yellows.
The fishing facilities are free for guests staying in our accommodation and a daily rate applies to day visitors.
Bird-watching
Our area is famous for its birdlife, with abundant grassland, riverine and wetland species.
Wing shooting
Wing shooting can be organised by arrangement only through approved hunting guides. We allow only ethical hunting practises. Enquire directly for more information.
